T-Mobile’s Kari Marshall compares telecom competition to an episode of ‘Game of Thrones’
T-Mobile became second-largest wireless carrier in the U.S. after acquiring Sprint in 2020. VP of Media Kari Marshall has been there to experience it all. Marshall shared her perspective on the latest episode of The Current Podcast.
“We really had nothing to lose,” Marshall says. “At the core, it was about solving customer pain points and putting the customer first. Nothing else mattered.”
Marshall also discusses why competing with other telecommunication companies is like being in an episode of Game of Thrones, how she is helping the brand embrace the transformation toward streaming, and why T-Mobile has its own in-house agency.
